Week 4

It's week four already and I'm still right on track. The challenge is still easy. I've been thinking about sustainability lately. Our reading this week talked about Hmong culture. Hmong has a culture of textile arts that have been practiced and perfected for centuries. This got me thinking about sustainable fashion and the production of garments. With the way the fashion world is today, can we ever revert back to a slower fashion market? Can we start making sustainable production processes the primary focus? After this week's reading, I am curious to learn about other culture's textile arts and the sustainable practices that have been perfected and passed down from generations. Can we take these sustainable practices and implement them in today's production lines?
