Be Green 101: Blog #1
The first weekend of this challenge I went to Goodwell and bought a used planter for my plants and a pair of white shoes. After that, I went to Dollar Tree and purchase a bag of soil to transfer my plant in. Once I went home I realize that I could have used some dirt from my patio. I planted basil and cilantro but after the transfer to the bigger pot, half of my cilantro died.If I wasn't doing this Be Green Challenge, I would have bought my supplies from Dollar Tree and my shoe at a big department store.
What I like about buying second hand is you'll never know what you'll find or what you'll get.
